i get main site traffic reports

were the 1st listing on google for our forum and on the 1st page of yahoo for our forum and ihatejoe network main site



i know that the gawker network owns sites like http://gizmodo.com/ and http://kotaku.com/ get about 1 million page hits a day,
and ytmnd gets about 10 million a month.
and i guess digg makes about $77k a year here

text ads on ytmnd cost 2100 a week and i think banners are about $12 per thousand impression [info here]

its a pdf but it has good info on how much some sites make a month

Im guessing with this being a small site well only be able to use Google AdSense but it we dont give up it'll keep going and like have explained to vanepps it might take a year or more.

well have to see what features we want the site to have like rss, tagging, commenting, ect.
and how many sites we will want to manage im guessing 1 at the start and maybe if were seeing anything 2 by next month probably someones going to have to pump some money into getting us some domains cause i think people like those.

i dunno if its just us, but we got a couple of hits now. the beast is growing

are you sure this isnt just you guys coming the site

im actually seein some different people come in such as guests and what not so maybe we should do somethin that would convince people to join up or somethin you know something that would catch there eye and get them to want to register, it might help in future events

yeah i know some of those guest are actually known to be joe or vanepps just not signing in but im sure theres others but if theres not content that a person wants than there not coming back
